Morning arrival to Maribor. Meet & greet by a local representative. Maribor is embraced by wine-growing hills on all sides. Its historic town centre is marked by the Austrian influence, and we will admire the lively and colourful squares - Grajski trg (Castle square), Slomskov trg (Slomsek square) and Glavni trg (Main square), and in Lent, the old river port. In the heart of Lent, the oldest vine in the world still grows in front of the Old Vine House. The confirmed age of this “Zametovka” or “Modra Kavcina” vine is over 400 years, which won it a place in the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest noble vine in the world still bearing grapes. The Old Vine is a symbol of the rich wine culture of Maribor, Styria, and all of Slovenia. It is possible to cover all these attractions on a walking tour of Maribor. The pinnacle of Maribor culture has been the title of the European Capital of Culture in 2012. Spend an afternoon in Gornja Radgona, where we will visit the famous sparkling wine cellar Frangez – house of sparkling wine. They are proud of the awards they have received from internationally acclaimed professionals (in 2013 Ordo Equestris Vini Europae, in 2010 double bronze medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition London, in 2016 double gold medal at the professional committee at FingerLakes NY international festival). Tasting (3 types of sparkling wine).  Accomodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

Driving to Prekmurje. Misterious plane in eastern part of Slovenia with fertile soil. First stop  - the watchtower Vinarium Lendava, standing 53.3 meters tall, offers an incredible 360° view of the colourful landscape that stretches from the settlement of Lendavske gorice, where the tower proudly stands, all the way to the river basin of Mura, and encompasses a wonderful view of the plains and hills of Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, and Austria. You can reach the highest platform of the tower by a comfortable ride with the elevator or by climbing 240 steps.  Next stop - Babic Mill on the river Mura. It is the combined floating mill. It is situated near the place called Verzej. Water mill stands on the river and the milling house is on the land. Babic Mill is the monument of the Slovenian heritage and it has invaluable value, because it is the only floating mill on the river of Mura. It was built in the year 1890. It was adjusted to the level of the water. The mill was entirely built from the wood and independent from the quantity of the rainfall. Boutique chocolate tasting with the local, Prekmurje flavour (examples: pumpkin seed oil chocolate pralines, Traminer chocolate pralines, Elderflower chocolate pralines, and much more). Lunch in great local restaurant with tradition. 4-course menu will be based on specialities from Prekmurje. Driving to Jeruzalem.
